Welcome! I would love to provide you with some information to help you get a sense of my professional experiences, as well as who I am. I have a Ph.D. from Fielding Graduate University (APA accredited program) which I completed in 2011. Since graduating from Fielding I have become a fully autonomous Licensed Psychologist in KY. Before Fielding, I completed a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Marshall University and was a Licensed Psychological Associate in Kentucky for 5 years. I've worked in a variety of settings, including University Counseling Centers, Community Mental Health Centers, and as a faculty member at community colleges and 4 year institutions. I am now happily working in my own private practice here in Louisville, KY.
I enjoy working with a diversity of people, specifically adults and adolescents. I am a generalist (by training) which means that I'm comfortable working with a wide variety of clinical concerns (like depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment, trauma, and difficulty with life transitions). One of my speciality areas in practice and training is working with multiculturally diverse clients, specifically LGBTQ+ clients.
